Meeting Times: Wednesdays at lunch in room B-1
EP Project: Pleasant Valley FNL is implementing Parent Committed, a program where officers and club members educate parents about underage drinking in Butte County. PV FNL members are working in conjunction with Athlete Committed to present Parent Committed toolkits at Athlete Committed Code Nights. PV Friday Night Live’s goal is to educate parents on how they can help the fight in limiting youth access to alcohol by being a “Parent Committed”.
School Climate Project: Pleasant Valley Friday Night Live is currently implementing their “Challenge Month” school climate project. This project features a weekly challenge for the month of February that students must complete to earn points towards gift basket prizes. Students who wish to participate can do so by visiting the Friday Night Live booth outside of the counseling office on the dates listed below:
2/3/16: Compliment a Friend Challenge
2/10/16: Teacher Appreciation Challenge
2/17/16: Bag Tag Challenge
2/24/16: The challenge winners will be announced!
The goal of this project is to spread a more positive and connected feeling among students on the Pleasant Valley High School Campus!
Pleasant Valley FNL is run by Vernon Spearman and Raven Mays. To learn more about FNL on PV’s campus, or to see how you can get involved, contact August Moore at aemoore@buttecounty.net.
