In May 2018, Butte County Behavioral Health in partnership with Butte County Public Health, Butte-Glenn Medical Society, and Aegis Treatment Centers hosted the the 2018 California Opioid Summit.

The summit was a ‘meeting of the minds’ aimed at educating the public about not only the dangers of the opioid epidemic, but also the steps being taken to reduce it’s impact.

The summit featured numerous influential keynote speakers and workshops at nearby Chico State.
